Tour of Napa Valley

Join us as we take a culinary tour of Napa Valley hosted by Burtons Grill of Virginia Beach and Napa Cellars on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Visit the rolling estates of the California vineyards while you indulge in a four-course meal prepared by Executive Chef Chase Barton. While the featured wines will give your palate a taste of the West, each culinary course highlights one of Virginia’s very own local ingredients including crab, onions, butter beans, oyster mushrooms and peaches. Each course is carefully paired with one of Napa Cellars’ fine wines, each meant to perfectly compliment the other. Napa Cellars’ wine exudes the classic Napa Valley style. Ripe, balanced and rich, each wine embodies the taste of the region as much as the grapes themselves. Mango Salad with Pea Tendrils, Spinach, Avocado,
Tortilla Strips, Pepitos and Mustard Vinaigrette

Second Course
Sweet Corn Chowder with Lump Crab Meat and Scallion Oil
Napa Cellars Chardonnay

Third Course
Herb Roasted Pork Loin with a Sweet Onion, Butter Bean, and Oyster
Mushroom Ragout and wine reduction
Napa Cellars Merlot

Dessert
Grilled Peaches drizzled with a Honey White Wine sauce,
Sweetened Marscopone and Olive Oil Cake.
Coffee will be served with dessert
