Healthy Hearts
During the month of February 2010, Burtons Grill of South Windsor is featuring a signature “Mango Salmon” dish in honor of Heart Awareness Month. Burtons Grill will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the dish to support the Eastern Connecticut Health Network’s (ECHN) Cardiac Rehabilitation program.
Cardiac Rehabilitation helps people with heart disease enjoy optimal health, both physically and psychologically through a plan of exercise and education that is personalized to each patient’s needs and goals.
Noted for its quality, ECHN’s program is nationally certified through the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Cardio Rehab is offered on an outpatient basis through Manchester Memorial and Rockville General Hospitals.
All proceeds from the Burtons Grill Mango Salmon dish will be used to purchase educational supplies and exercise equipment for ECHN’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
The Mango Salmon ($24.95), fresh, North Atlantic salmon lightly seasoned and seared, served over ginger soy brown rice with snap peas, topped with a mango and red pepper salsa, is available for both lunch and dinner. This heart-healthy dish will be served all month long, exclusively at the South Windsor Burtons Grill location.
