WHAT: Burtons Grill of South Windsor and Nature’s Grocer are at it again! On Monday, June 14, 2010 at 6:30PM join Burtons Grill and Nature’s Grocer in partnership with Healthy Villi, the largest local support and educational group for celiac disease, for a specially prepared four-course gluten free dinner. Friends and families of all ages can enjoy Burtons Grill signature menu items such as Gazpacho and the Pan-Seared Swordfish served over gluten free Linguini for only $45.00, tax and gratuity not included. (Please See Menu Below).

First Course
Gazpacho
Garden fresh vegetables pureed then chilled and topped with tortilla strips.
Second Course
Mango, Avocado and Tomato Salad with Crab Cake
Baby spinach and spring pea tendrils tossed with fresh mango, sliced avocado, grape tomatoes, crispy tortilla strips and pepitas.
Third Course
Pan-Seared Swordfish with a Seafood Puttanesca Sauce
Tart, briny olives and capers tempered by rich pinenuts in a sweet tomato sauce served over linguini.
Dessert
Mixed Berry Cobbler with Mint & Basil served with Coconut Ice Cream
Traditional biscuit topped with fresh berries, strawberry puree and whipped cream

The mission of Nature's Grocer is to provide Tolland County residents and visitors with a combination of quality natural foods, grocery items and wheat/gluten free baked goods. Nature's Grocer was established by Bob and Sue Spector, two long-time foodies and Tolland County residents, who were looking to create a natural foods option for shoppers east of the river. When Sue was diagnosed with Celiac disease it quickly became clear that the opportunities for baked goods outside the home were virtually non-existent. Bob, a bake-a-holic, immediately began his quest to create appetizing gluten free baked goods that non-celiacs could appreciate as well. Today Nature’s Grocer offers personalized service and an atmosphere that fosters a healthy lifestyle and provides the community with a market that specializes in a selection of allergy free foods as well as natural and organic products.
